Det Som Engang Var (Norwegian for "that which once was") is the second release by the Norwegian black metal artist Burzum. It was recorded in April 1992 and released in August 1993 through Burzum's own label, Cymophane. The album was initially titled På Svarte Troner (Norwegian for "on black thrones) but was retitled before its release. Burzum was a Norwegian black metal music project founded by Varg Vikernes in 1991.
