Silly Boy Blue was originally released in June '67 on Bowie's eponymous debut (later compiled in the Deram Anthology) and later reworked in 2001 for the unreleased "Toy" album. The 1968 Beeb version contains the "Chimi" lyrics (a nod to Bowie's Tibetan Buddhist master) and has a slightly different 60's mod feel with chamber-orchestra backing. (Including the Bowie-at-the-Beeb version, there are four known studio versions of this song, all with slightly different arrangements.)
