“Kingdom Hearts Key” is the ninth track on JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown’s collaborative album SCARING THE HOES. The song features American rapper Redveil, making this track the only one on the album to have a featured artist. The track includes a sample from Japanese singer Maaya Sakamoto’s 1996 single “Yakusoku wa iranai”, which features production from prolific anime composer Yoko Kanno. Kanno was previously sampled by Peggy on “Beta Male Strategies” from his 2019 album All My Heroes Are Cornballs, which samples “羽化 (Uka)” from the Turn A Gundam soundtrack.
