An early version of the new Last.fm is launching today exclusively for subscribers, with access to the re-imagined site gradually rolling out to everyone over the coming weeks.
The new Last.fm will include a host of innovative features that will help users better navigate, explore and enjoy an infinite universe of music.
Some of the early features included in this phase of the roll out are:
· The new Last.fm Playbar, which gives users a desktop-based listening experience by pulling in music from multiple streaming sources and staying with them across the site wherever their Last.fm journey takes them.
· A new Library Explorer, which enables users to delve deep into their listening history to rekindle those distant memories. What were you listening to on that hazy day back in Summer 2009? We can tell you exactly that.
. The new User Homepage, which currently includes tracks and albums (artists, events and more to come), surfaces all the music users are sure to love in one handy place. Whether it's a brand new release or a forgotten favourite, click play to listen instantly via the new Last.fm Playbar.
