Description

Microdisko throws a party to celebrate the biggest event taking place in the chip music scene since the release of version 1 of Little Sound DJ; the release of the Kraftwerk tribute 8-Bit Operators.

On this record, released through Astralwerks, artists from the whole world interpret Kraftwerks legendary hits with old computers and game-consoles.

The release consists of two separate records; one CD with 15 artists who interpret one Kraftwerk-hit each, as well as one twelve inch with two tracks, whichof one is a megamix with no less than 12 contributory artists.

Amongst the artists on the records, we find four Swedish acts, who all are all well-known to the Microdisko audience; Covox, Role Model, Psilodump and Random. Besides these artists, we also find a selection of other acts who has done performances for us in the past; Bit Shifter, Nullsleep, David E. Sugar, gwEm, FirestARTer and Sidabitball.

We cannot miss the opportunity to celebrate this future megaclassic orderly! Therefore we arrange a big party at Stacken/Nalen, Stockholm, featuring DJ's, VJ's and concerts with som of the contributory artists; Random, Psilodump and Covox.

During the event, the 8-bit operator releases will be available for sale with discount prices and we will also be giving away a few for free!
