The Arctic Circle returns once again with it’s annual Christmas Concert (OK 2nd one!) bringing together some it’s favourite artists for a unique one off concert at the stunning Union Chapel venue in Islington (the best venue in London?).
This concert is all about the spirit of Christmas and that that fuzzy feeling you get when receiving your presents, or maybe when you’ve had one too many to drink at Christmas time. We’ve gathered together a unique seasonal mixture of musicians and music, there are over 50 involved. So come and listen to the charming beautiful baroque ensemble the North Sea Radio Orchestra and the pop know how of Josh Weller. Their will also be special guest appearances by soundtrack composer David Julyan (The Prestige, Memento), the vocal of the lovely Mara Carlyle, and the whole evening kick off at 7.30 (sharp) with a newly formed fan faring ensemble brought together for the evening by Dollboy. Nothing is done in half measures on this night!
If that wasn’t enough the evening is hosted by the one and only Jonny Trunk, who has many claims to fame, not least of which is entering the recent pop charts with a song about Ladies Bras and releasing an album of the music of Ivor the Engine on his Trunk records label this Christmas.
