Phosphorescent 'live' will blow your mind! I, for one, could barely speak after witnessing him for the first time (supporting Akron/Family in 2007). His Pride album of the same year was a cert for our Top Ten. To describe this music as 'haunting' is only half the story, and his most recent album - a tribute to Willie Nelson - is probably a wise move as a means of giving the uninitiated a gentle, accessible introduction to the magic of Matthew Houck. This will be a full band show.

As one half of the songwriting brothers behind GRAND DRIVE, and now as erstwhile ringleader of DANNY & THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD, Danny Wilson has written some of our favourite music ever. Danny (he adopted the 'George' to avoid confusion with the band of the same name... umm, and the football manager) sings like no-one else and has a habit of penning lyrics that resonate so deeply you'd swear he'd been peeking at your diary. Delighted that he agreed to support on this bill; two voices that will move you to tears in the best possible way. Don't be late!
