This whole album is cry-yourself-to-sleep music, but it's so fucking beautiful, and the more I listen to it, the more it reveals. One of the best SMZ albums and therefore one of the best post-rock albums.

Used to hate this album, but I just listened to it again after several years and I love it! Can't get the songs out of my head.

Every song is good. The only one I can't listen to too often is the title track, other than that every track is wow

"I think this is better than every GY!BE album combined." It's really good but not THAT good. It's almost as good as Lift YOur Skinny Fists though, and Zions best album

i like some of the material Mt. Zion made (got all their albums until "punkrock"), but i got more and more tired listening to efrim's wailing singalongs... yeah, really different to GYBE! - i really would welcome some new stuff from this collective. but it seems, they exist no longer... :(

this album is highly controversial if you ask me, so is Efrim's voice. well, I think I like this album, Efrim's voice, too. I'm a dedicated GY!BE fan, I think that A Silver Mt. Zion is something different and this way is better. I wouldn't like them trying to play godspeed-ish. I think they are more clever than that.
