She is known in Japan as the "Queen of Hip Hop Soul". Her best-selling single is "Story", a sleeper hit from her fourth studio album, Mic-a-holic Ai. Since 2000, she has released twelve studio albums. She is currently signed to Universal Music sublabel EMI Records.
