Seeing as I only have a single computer with a CD drive, and that one has no audio output, I started going through my CD collection to see if there were any CDs I had not digitized, yet, and was slightly ashamed to realize I had not listened to this masterpiece in about 20 years. So I ripped this CD in haste and enjoyed it in leisure. I was impressed that the songs were every bit as compelling as they were 20 years ago. The melodies are still catchy as hell, and the lyrics are every bit as relevant today as they were back then. But mostly it was the melody/harmony that reminded me why I did love this album so much back then. I still think the lyrics are more depressing than sarcastic or funny, but 20 years later I think that that is what life is like in general, so I do not mind any more.

I love this album. I love Against The Grain and No Control more, but this is right up on the top shelf with those albums. So fucking good. Crazy to think I bought this 21 years ago, and it's still one of my favorite punk rock albums of all time.

Amazing record, truly. Standout tracks for me are "The Handshake", "Inner Logic", "Infected", "21st Century Digital Boy", "Slumber", "Better Off Dead", "Marked", and "Stranger Than Fiction" Shit, there's so many standouts!

Weird, because I also think this is not without filler, but "Marked" is one of my favorites - I love the chorus to that one. The only track I really don't like is "Television" though;I like Rancid on occasion, but I just don't think Tim Armstrong's voice meshes well with Bad Religion at all.

The Handshake is one of my favourite BR songs! Great lyrics. I think I own everything they've done apart from Into The Unknown ep.
