222 is one of the best things ever recorded....more consistant than most people let on too [3] One of my favourite albums.

I'm not well versed on the topic of American stand-up comedians, rarely it is possible for a Polish guy to relate or 'get' some of the topics involved, so don't lynch me if what I'm about to write has been written thousands of times before and/or is considered heresy (if you believe Patton is the comedian in his own right) BUT, having just found out about him through Cracked, and having just listened to his 'Werewolves and Lollipops' album this is what I gathered - damn does he project Bill Hicks well. Same 'left of the center-ism', same anti-mainstream rage, hell, even their voices are somewhat similar.

"Hey KFC I really love your food." "PROVE IT BY BURNING YOURSELF!" I laughed soooo damn hard at that entire bit when I first listened to it. I even thought of it the next day at work and randomly started laughing.

Shit, I'm missing a track from 222 Disc 2 (with the extrapolated tracklist). Anyone have any idea what it is?

DontBanJoey, it's true. Louis and David are my two other favorite comedians, but they don't ever make me laugh out loud when I'm by myself like Patton does, which is a rare thing. My number one vote for someone as purely funny, who does comedy for the sake of going for the hugest laugh, I'd say Eugene Mirman. His stuff is so absurd that you almost get high. But yeah. Patton has this gift. Carlos Alazraqui called him the Mozart of stand-up.

DontBanJoey: This is a longshot (depending on your comedic tastes), but Kathleen Madigan might interest you. She's not really like Patton, but she follows the whole "rant about bullshit in the world/personal life" route. Patton's more about humorous stories than he is about ranting, so.. but still. Someone like Patton? Haven't really found one yet.
