Haha ja! Tack vare ett tips jag fick för längesen. Från ytterligare en svensk! Och det finns en till här på last.fm. Men det är väl ungefär bara vi ☺️

One of the most consistent bands of all time, how do they keep putting out great record after great record?

Even though it may SEEM daunting at 30 songs, check out Never Hear the End of It,. It works beautifully and is my personal favorite, though they have a lot of great albums. I'm not a huge fan of the first two (though I know the 2nd has a big following), but One Chord to Another and Navy Blues really put them on the map for me.

One of the best parts about Never Hear the End of It is that it never loses steam, and actually picks up towards the end. The last track (not counting bonus), "Another Way I Could Do It" would probably be my favorite by them (gun to head, anyway - several songs on Action Pact plus "Follow the Leader" are in that mix).

Great when you make a discovery like them, isn't it? So much back catalog to dig into....

One more message (shout) - It elates me to see how many people can rank every one of their albums because we take the time as fans to listen to all of their albums. Sloan rules!

Kaylinbee - Hard to argue with your list, I might move one or two around but it's close. Here is mine reposted and slightly edited. Never Hear The End Of It, Twice Removed (the tour they just did playing this album in its entirety is the best show I've been to), Between The Bridges, One Chord To Another, The Double Cross, Navy Blues, Parallel Play, Pretty Together, Smeared (Underwhelmed is a classic!), Action Pact (the only subpar album they have in my opinion, and even this one has a great Chris Murphy track (Nothing Lasts Forever Anymore). I hope all Sloan fans post their choices.

Wooleybooley - You will learn to love the first half as well. I agree the 2nd half is amazing but the first half has some gems too. The NS is great and Sensory Deprivation is a staple of their live shows. Glad you came around on it, it's my 3rd favorite album of theirs.

I love all the album rankings but putting Parallel Play above Twice Removed is ridiculous.

"Between The Bridges" was the one Sloan album I just never connected with. ..... but now it's grown on me immensely. The key to it was starting with track 7: A Long Time Coming. The back half of this album is loaded with great tunes!

Been listening to this band forever, but "Parallel Pact" is my favorite. I don't get why people don't rock that album more. "Witch's Wand" ... "I'm Not a Kid Anymore" ... "All I Am is All You're Not"? Three of the best indie rock songs ever recorded.

These guys probably write guitar hooks and vocal melodies/harmonies in their sleep. Such a talented band!

i had liked a couple albums before Action Pact, but that's the one that really hooked me and still is my favorite. the double cross comes close, though - great album.
