Phenomenal album! First Black Keys album I heard of their pre-Brothers stuff, glad I've dug into this group's back catalogue, excellent stuff, I've got all their CDs now!

@DavidSmith- You're pretty young dude. This is an album and a band that was underrated for years, until 2008 when they hit big with Attack & Release. You shouldn't assume that BK fans aren't also RS fans or that they are somehow deficient in quality music taste. And by the way, if you wanna dig deeper with blues, you'll definitely will have to dig deeper than the Rolling Stones, who got a lot of criticism when they first started for basically ripping off black blues musicians and garnering more success with a primarily white pop audience. I see your mention of Howlin' Wolf, but there were many many others.... ie Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, even Screamin' Jay Hawkins....

Seriously...I'm just waiting for The White Keys or The Black Stripes and I think my face will be blown off from awesome. After a few years of listening to this, still one of the top albums of the decade.

I'm listening to this album for the first time this very minute. Is it strange that I already have a feeling this is going to become one of my favourite albums in the history of forever?
