Biography
There are at least two bands called The Coterie:
1. The Coterie was a post-hardcore/metalcore band from Portland, Oregon, United States. Anchored in "the city of roses and rain" (Portland, Oregon, United States), their full-length debut album, Aesthete, came out in 2007 recorded by the guitarist Evan White.

2. The Coterie were a Dublin, Ireland-based folk quartet of the late 1960s, comprising Margaret Maguire, Kathleen Maguire (no relation), Jacqueline McDarby and Catherine Donnelly. Their album A Swing to Folk (1969) featured a combination of folk traditionals and material by artists such as The Beatles and Leonard Cohen.
