Stone cold masterpiece. I love that last section - "lean in close and I will whisper the last words you'll hear" - as it slips into the wordless "find him, bind him" motif. While sure, two men dying, fighting in the belly of a whale is a perfect metaphor for the suicidal futility of revenge, it's hard not to feel the glee as that accordion barks its joyous frenzy of instrumental torture! It's such a wonderfully histrionic bit of Grand Guignol, you forget how dark it is.

Simultaneously one of the most ridiculous and one of the best songs I've ever heard. [2] - spot on.

The Mother was clearly deranged and irrational in her consumptive state - in urgent need of professional psychiatric treatment before her untimely death. Her son should have realised this, taken her hasty commands with a grain of salt and continued on with the rest of his life unburdened.

Find him, find him, time him to a post and break his fingers to splinters, clawing at the ceiling of his grave.... LOVE it!

Songs like this need to have two love buttons because one simply does not cut it.
