Jobseeker...Jon Winter is now a guitarist in The Northwestern, which also features members of the late great Hope Of The States. They're an excellent band, one that's well worth checking out and they'll hopefully have their debut album out this year. Jim Reynolds is in new band Bicycle Thiefs, who are slowly but surely generating hype around Liverpool. I'm not fully convinced by them so far, but it's only a matter of time before they win me over methinks. As for the others, I don't know. I really wish Steven Bayley would come back into the limelight, he was a terrific musician.

I'm glad Statues grew on you Even as a major fan of The Open it took me the best part of 9 months since the release date to figure it all out. For instance, I used to hate 'Forever' and then one day it just clicked with me. Couldn't really explain it, just loved it all of a sudden. The sense of adventure I got exploring that album really is one of my fondest musical memories.

I just discovered this band, and I'm saddened by the fact that such an amazing band has broken up.
