Funny about the origin of their name; I always get The Wedding Present and The Birthday Party mixed up.

I was a bit put off by the first few tracks of the new album, going "wtf is this?" They still feel a bit filler-ish, like maybe they needed an excuse for a double album. But it gets really good. There's a couple of future Weddoes classics on here, I'm pretty sure.

good lyrics. poor singing but not entirely without charm and dull as dishwater music. that's the wedding present for you
