One of my all time favorites, I love how sensitive and reflective her words are. The oboe at the chorus is a great choice, its brings a solemn and ancient feeling.

Very nice song. I just discovered this singer recently. Looking for more of her music.

Heard this song in my sleep tonight. It has such a magical, unexplainable and slightly uneasy quality to it that I've really come to appreciate throughout the years. As a child, when I heard it during a nightdrive or something in my parents' car, I was somewhat frightened by it, but now I'm extremely fond of it.

Her voice has something in it I'd describe as "sobriety".. Maybe that's why this song is so unique.. Message and voice seem to fit perfectly together in this one.

The deep, dark voice that is Tanita Tikaram reflects on her collaboration with the legendary Nick Lowe and reveals why her hit song, "Twist In My Sobriety," isn't really about drinking at all (despite what Liza Minnelli may tell you!): http://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/tanita_tikaram/
