Hello!! :) about Hot Chip's last album, I didn't like it that much when I first listened, but I went to their gig recently and the songs sounded so great live that I gave the album another chance :) but new song kicks ass of the entire album, I think...

yes, last.fm doens't allow us to share DL links - both shouts and messages with this sort of links are banned. But I got a new DL file for the video stream, if you're interested. Maybe I could email you?

I missed a couple of songs during the streaming as well 'cause my internet sucks, but yesterday the whole gig was available at youtube, so I could finally see it. Too bad EMI banned the video today (after DFA itself promote it on Facebook), but there are lots of other link to check out if you're interested. I'd love to have this audio file, if that's no problem for you! If I find a new video of the whole streaming or a dl link I'll let you know!

Well... The day began with Sparks but work have now banned that as well. So I'll add it to the PSB and Roberto list amongst many other things. Bah! So... I like half of this Radiohead. Thoughts?

So it works now. I deleted it about 4 times, reinstalled, still didn't work. Created a new profile a couple days later, and now it works like a charm. Weird. Anyway, back to music. Have you given Sufjan a chance again with the new one? It really grew on me! Yeah, the new Walkmen is really good.

Actually I think it makes sense you prefer Freedom of Choice over the debut album now - I think the debut is a bit different from the type of music Devo's been more associated with (and loved for). It's good, but it's not "Devo as the world knows it", maybe. No. 1 in Heaven is a masterpiece! I was lucky to find a copy of this one in yellow vinyl, so beautiful! Really must look for The Chap's albums, now you got me curious about them!! =)

oh, forgot to answer about The Chap: well, I was listening to "my neighbourhood" here on last.fm yesterday and this band came along. It was a good song, I'll follow your suggestion and try to get more stuff from them! =)

I love Sparks' No. 1 in Heaven!! I think it's the only album here on last.fm where I put "little hearts" in all songs! But somehow I don't think it's everybody's cup of tea, can't explain why. Maybe it's a matter of "getting used to it" - most people I recommended the album hated it at first, but later on the album grew on them...

This is really cool! Hope you'll get lots of awesome records over there! I have a Brazilian copy of Neurovision on vinyl, that's one funny record and I love the cover art!! I think all Devo's albums until Oh No, it's Devo! are just perfect - Freedom of Choice is great, I'd also recommend Duty Now for the Future if you happen to find it. New Traditionalists and Oh No, It's Devo are very good. I'd say Duty Now and Oh No are my faves along with the debut album. The Pet Shop Boys, together with The B-52's, are probably the bands I've been a fan for a longer time - I like them since childhood! I was a member of their official fan clubs and all that. First CD I ever bought was PSB's Introspective and their Discovery tour concert in Rio was one of the greatest I've ever seen - no wonder it was taped, I wish it would be released in DVD one day...

Just had a listen at SS's new album. It's quite good really. Devo's that sort of band "love it or leave it", despite being very pop most of the time, I don't think it's everybody's cup of tea. As for Klaus, Lighting Strikes and Total Eclipse are his only songs I know. He had amazing look and voice! I'll try to find his albums. "Sing to God" is my fave Cardiacs album right now (but I'm a newbie fan, so...) - I don't know what's old school fans' opinion about this one. Check out my library, see if there's any of their albums you don't have yet and I'll send you. ;)

And I am absolutelly in love with the Cardiacs. Funny that at the same time you were listening to them (last month, I think?) another friend of mine talked to me about them at Facebook. One of those coincidences... Their videos are great, my fave is one Jibber And Twitch rehearsal video with a barking dog annoying them during the song! Tim's voice and way of singing is awesome! I don't know much about Klaus Nomi, just his main hits (specially due to URGH! fame) - but never heard a full album, as far as I remember. Do you have a favourite? =)
