Wow you went all out! I only went to the Belasco show, but you nailed it, it was pretty dang epic. One of these days I'll finally make it out to see a show at Programme Skate hopefully.

Dude, probably seeing Fucked Up on Monday at DNA. I realize that`s coming to California and watching a Canadian band, but I really haven`t seen much else of interest, haha.

Not sure if you got my earlier message.. but I grew up on Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Boston, The Eagles, Edger Winter, Heart, Marshall Tucker Band, Willie Nelson, Elvis, Merle haggard, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and Creedence Clear Water Revival. Good Tunes... stuff the dub step crowd has missed unfortunately.

Nirvana, Pearl Jam.. Alice In Chains.. Soundgarden.. STP... Smashing Pumpkins and the like will always be my favs. Of course Metallica, Tool, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Machine Head and those type bands are also special to me. I guess what I'm saying is... the older shit is better. Music from the 60's-90's is my fav. Most music over the last 10 years as well as movies that have comes out are tired and old. We need a resurgence in the rock scene. A band like Nirvana that will come along and turn the scene on it's head. Kurt was a special dude... I doubt anyone like him will come along again. One can hope.

I'm bummed that you didn't get tickets for that... I wonder how they even decided who won. Random drawing? Keep checking the event page on Last.FM or Facebook. Maybe someone will hook you up.

Yeah, of course! You don't have to pay me. A ride home would be most appreciated.

Awesome. I'm excited to go back to Thee Parkside. I haven't been there in ages. Feels like I should become a flight attendant so I can fly to more places on the cheap, or even for free if I'm lucky.

See you at the Flatliners/ A Wilhelm Scream show? I missed them last time, but I'm definitely going this time!

Haha, I didn't realize it was Chad on the vocals. I like it more than most of the new NFG I've heard lately. Punk Rock Bowling would be awesome... the idea has been planted. Stoked for choke later this month, I'll try to film a song or two.

So i was wondering, do you have any informations about the setlist they've been playing in this reunion tour or shit like that? also could you send me some message after the show in Calgary telling how it was or possibly the setlist? I mean im the greatest fuckin fan of this band (seems like you too) and im super stoked about they playing here in Brazil, but i couldnt find the current setlist anywhere. shit i talk way too much. ok man thanks!

Just got word from Jumpstart Records on the double Belvedere LP (Color Vinyl) going on pre-order this Friday. There will also be an option with a limited poster, shirt etc. On top of that.... Fast Forward Eats the Tape will be released on two different versions of colored vinyl for the first time in conjunction with the reunion tour. I'm nerdin' out here... but I'm super-stoked.

Calgary is the hometown show, should be off the hook! Perhaps the stars will align for you and Choke will do a reunion show on the same weekend.

Same here. Those two were really the only bands I cared to see lol. That'd be tight! Oakland Metro would be a better venue I think.

I ended up not going :( I was too lazy to buy a ticket and find a way down there, hah. I heard they were great though!

PJ20 was epic! Concert high-light of the year... Made some new friends, heard some of the most amazing setlists by all the artist and bought 6 concert posters. 3 of the six are rare. I was one of the lucky few who got Brad Klausan's PJ20 variant poster for day 2. There were only 17.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm surprised Kid Dynamite is even playing at FYF Fest. You never know, bands re-unite and start touring all the time these days.

Aw, man. That sucks! If only you could be in two places at once. I'm sure Descendents will play more shows sometime.

I thought seriously about catching them again in SF, but I'm trying to maximize my concert going dollars these days. I also bought, and framed that poster from the BlackDiamondSkye tour! I spent a lot at that show...got a Deftones hoodie there that I love, and wore constantly until the sun decided to finally grace NorCal.
