Dio has a very special place in my heart but his era holds the same status to me that Iron Maiden and Judas Priest do to me now, as in a stage of my musical past that I don't really revisit a lot but will always love. I also don't have those albums downloaded so when I do revisit them its just on YT so it doesn't scrobble.

Also I'd mirror Zakk Wylde's opinion in saying that Dio Sabbath is basically a fundamentally different band to Ozzy Sabbath. Still great stuff but its just too different.

Hey mate sorry for the late response I haven't been listening to much music recently so I haven't been on here that much but I'm from Inner Western Sydney. You should listen to Monoshock they are soooooooo good man Crypto-Zoological Disaster is genuinely one of the greatest songs ever recorded I think. Do you think I should shell out the 80 bucks to see Napalm Death? I listened to them when I was in year 7 and liked them a lot then and still think they're good but haven't since but I assume they're great live. 80 bucks really feels a bit steep though. Best wishes Sydneybro I hope you have a blessed day.

You gotta check out the Stooges, go through the classic 1969-1973 run but Fun House is absolutely the best. Also check out Bardo Pond and Pram.

I heard, I'm just curious to see what he's going to do if he comes back to the internet

There's almost certainly some sort of court order or bail conditions barring him from any sort of internet access for the sake of his protection, but knowing our dearest CWC it is only a matter of time before he does something else hilarious and retarded.

Do you like Loretta Lynn or Dr. Dre better? What is your favorite song by Dio and is it when he was in Black Sabbath or not?

I have not heard any songs by Loretta Lynn so I guess its Dr Dre by default. I really truly hate his headphones lol. I must admit I never got that into Dio, solo or Sabbath, though Rainbow are fucking awesome. I think my answer is going to be Stargazer.

Hi, massive respect for John Fahey. What music would you recommend, in any genre?

Listen to Monoshock, Supersize Me, Paavoharju (Yhä hämärää is their only good album), Jack Rose and Pelt, Burning Witch, and the various projects of Steven R. Smith (Hala Strana incorporates elements of traditional Slavic music so it'd be familiar for you). Oh and check out the Harmony of the Spheres compilation by Drunken Fish Records, its a great showcase of 90s space rock and drone. Some of these aren't available anywhere except for slsk so I'll upload them to my yt channel in a bit and send them over when I do.

I got into Monoshock recently, amazing psych-garage, def reccomend. You should also check out Stereo by Ewa Braun, definitely seems up your alley. Supersize Me are absolutley wonderful, its gorgeous lo-fi ambient guitar psychedelia. Everyone needs to listen to the Inerrant Rays of Infallible Sun (Blackship Shrinebuilder) split EP with Om and Current 93, I think its one of the most important music releases of the last 25 years. Also just check out everything from the 2003-2008 era of Om because they're just the best, hope you enjoy lol.

Guys I got permabanned on RYM for being too redpilled on Kendrick Lamar, seems like a neoliberal psyop to me lol. Is it over, or judt the beginning?

I don't like hip-hop in general but the thing with Kendrick Lamar specifically is the fact that its only so acclaimed because of white guilt. To Pimp A Butterfly reaching no. 1 on rym has nothing to do with the quality of the music, its just guilt-ridden western white kids overrating it so they can feel more secure in not being racist and signal to others that they are "down with the blacks." 2020 did a real number on the entire western psyche.

Hi Mr Roger Waters. If I am going to tell you the truth I am a little traumatised by you and your work after hearing the Final Cut in my mother's car as a child close to a bajillion times. There is only so much Rog one can handle, especially a small child. I hope you can understand. At least you were pretty good at Qudos Bank Arena Sydney in 2018.

My fellow Syd Barrett based chad enjoyer, you should spread your love to his trips around the world! Have you ever compared his debut solo album to "something something Majesties Request" by The Rolling Stones? A friend of mine is trying to persuade me that it is much much better... Hope you are doing well!

Hello friend... People must indeed be made aware of the pure psychedelic genius that is Syd Barrett... when will they realise that the Piper at the Gates of Dawn is indeed Pink Floyd's greatest album, no contest. As for Their Satanic Majesties Request, I listened to it a little while back and thought while its pretty amusing, the Stones going trippy, it really wasn't anything special, extremely derivative of all the much better stuff going on at the time. Had a few good tracks, but absolutely nothing compared to Piper or really any of the psychedelic greats of 1967 really. I hope you are doing well too my friend. :)
