Hi there! Shoutout for no particular reason, just listening to some music and thinking of you! It's been a while since I last checked your scrobbles, I feel that there's some very interesting stuff here, as usual :) How are you doing?

Hanging in there, but aiming for good. :) I hope you're doing good. Thanks for helping me decide my bedtime listening, btw - Guthrie/Budd made such warm comfort blanket music.

Yeah, I am seeing overlap in our recent listening! I love Starflyer 59; wish I'd gotten into them sooner. I'm finding a lot of new-to-me artists that I'm gonna need to explore more, in your library, too. :)

Hi there, hope you're doing good! Just discovered this new record, "Fleeting Adventure", by Andrew Tuttle, and thought you could find it interesting, too! Oh, and Orbital is soo cool, too :-) Hope you're having nice days & listenings!

That Andrew Tuttle album is so gorgeous and relaxing! Thanks so much for that, I'll have to check out more of his stuff. :) It's been a roughish year, but music always helps. I hope you're doing well, though. Orbital are fantastic! I have LudoWic on today and I think he sounds a little Orbital...only a little, but you might like him, too, if you don't know him.

I'll definitely listen more from City Girl in the future! And good to hear about the niceness in your recent days - same for me (/all of us?) actually, I didn't have the chance to listen to this amount of new music for a long time!

Oh, weird. Ah well! Thank you, though! You, too! I've been obsessed with Hatchie... Hazy Mountains' "Pull of The Moon" and Parannoul's "To See the Next Part of the Dream" have been recent albums I've really enjoyed, also. And Hum had a new one last year! That was good. Anything from your rotation this year you'd recommend?

Thanks! I'll check'em out as soon as I can ^^, a friend told me he really liked that Hum album so I'll surely give it a listen. I've been getting more into noisy shoegaze this year, bands like PinkShinyUltrablast or Skywave's Synthstatic but it's perfectly understandable if you're not into that kinda stuff. Also, I really reccomend Sweet Trip's "You will never know why" album for some really nice dream pop or "Velocity, Design, Comfort" for a more experimental approach to their shoegaze sound.

Oh! I like PinkShinyUltrablast! I'll have to give Skywave a proper listen. I like the Sweet Trip I've heard, so I'll check those out, too, thanks! Also, I forgot SPC ECO - I've listened to them so much this year I didn't think of it, I guess. The monthly EPs+LP they did last year is really interesting and often great. I love Dean Garcia's whole soundscape universe.

Hm, I'm open to anything, but I had a listen on YouTube and really like the track "Kitsune." It's... sort of weird and eerie. More like that, maybe?

I cant find such a song in my library. For starters i could point towards the Azumanga Daioh soundtrack (100-ish songs) as it has many flavors. For weird and eerie i point you towards Diablo 2 soundtrack or the Caretaker. I download all my mp3's and am often found with only a few suggestions that are on youtube. For a chillaxi taxi call Carlos Jobim or Chicago Underground Orchestra. Damu the fudgemunk provides some mellow beats. Let me know whats up after you give those a shot, give me your recommendations if you got any.

Hey! You have good taste! :) Record of a Yokohama Shopping Trip is lovely, and petrichor is one of my favorite smells. Lately I've been listening to Dream, Ivory and You'll Never Get to Heaven a lot. Both very melancholic dreampoppy shoegazey things. How about you?

Thank you, likewise! :) Wow it looks like we have a lot in common then. I'm guessing your username has its origin from Sigur Rós's song, right? Also I'm quite curious about your profile picture, it looks neat! Where does it comes from if I may know? I've listened to prabably the whole discography of the both artists you recommended and all I can say is: thank you so much. I really owe you a favor, Absolutely love both of them, especially Dream, Ivory. As I've became really trustfull of your taste, I hope you don't mind if I'll check out other artists from your library. I've been listening to a lot of things tbh, but if I were to recommend something of a similar kind, shoegazey thing, Faunts would be a great candidate. Since you haven't scrobbed them, I'll assume you're not familiar with their works. If you're willing to give them a listen, please let me know your thoughts :)

Aaah, Faunts are great! Feel.Love.Thinking.Of is such a good album. I especially love the last two tracks. I'm glad you liked Dream, Ivory and You'll Never Get to Heaven! They both have this bittersweet nostalgia to their sound that takes me to another world or time. Even though it's new music to me, it makes me deeply and achingly nostalgic. I've been listening to Castlebeat a lot, too, who are kind of similar but more upbeat. My name does indeed come from Sigur Ros! Njosnavelin was taken, and Njosnavelina sounds more like a name, anyway? As for my profile pic, it's Daria, from the TV show, uh... Daria. I saw it for the first time a few years ago, and it resonated more than I thought it would. I was pretty much a variant of Daria, at that age and... still kind of am, in a more awkward grownup way. Thanks for replying! :) I'll definitely be pilfering your library, too. Is there anything else in particular you'd recommend?
