Hello, lots of great stuff here! Looks like we're both about equally obsessed with the new Father John Misty album based on our shared scrobbles. I love that record and cannot stop listening haha. Also, another fellow Radiohead diehard. Hat tip, my new friend, hat tip!

In the pocket of my dress I've got this eight inch copper key, but I don't know the door it goes with and that fact is killing me.

Excellent yields, and thankfully no children. ;) Since our musical compatibility is SUPER, I reckon I should ask: Any artists/songs you've discovered recently that I absolutely must check out?

Which leads me to Lingua Ignota. It was a very interesting album. Now bear with me, her vocals sounded to me like if you mixed Amanda Palmer with P.J. Harvey mixed with Diamanda Galas. Especially the later when she’s screaming wildly, like a crazy woman. So, one day turn around… It was odd that every reply above (from initial, to now) was in August. Strange strange. Take care. Thanks for the recs!

Wow, I commend you for giving SINNER GET READY a listen front to back! That's awesome. My favorite songs on that album are the quiet, understated ones. PENNSYLVANIA FURNACE is my #1 pick off the album (the video, which she styled, shot, produced, edited herself in two weeks is just as beautiful), and I also love the closer, THE SOLITARY BRETHREN OF EPHRATA. It's a hymn for the broken. --> So, Ghost. Yes, you definitely picked up on the 80's hair band vibe. Spillways sounds (to me) like it could be at home on Slippery When Wet. I love the throwback sound, and the lyrics are often hilarious. And YES, their aesthetic is fantastic. They're officially on my bucket list to see live. —> I'm absolutely tickled that you listened to all the music I recommended. No one ever does that. My friends & fam always get that glazed look in their eyes when I start in on music. LOL. :D

Anyway, you take care as well. If you stumble across anything new (or new to you) and exciting, and think it's something I should check out please feel free to drop by my profile and tell me all about it. Music is a huge part of my life, I listen to just about everything but BTS and post-Viva la Vida Coldplay, and electronic/house music, so I'm open to any reccs thrown my way.

Vampire Weekend's latest has been on repeat since it came out. Saw them in Indianapolis last weekend and had a blast. I'm enjoying Silversun Pickup's new album. I also keep listening to the Hamilton soundtrack for some reason. I'm sure soon enough all I'll be listening to is Tool. They played two new tracks when I saw them in Chicago last month, and I can't wait to hear the studio versions. So stoked to finally hear new music from them!!
