now i'm on my other new-er one which i think is my real one? anyway i came on here to find something AMAZINGSONGYAYLOVELYMUSICLIKEEARSFULLOFCANDYFLOSSSILKBATHINGINPEANUTBUTTERILOVEIT kind of song thing to listen to in order to CHEER me up and make me feel confident that i can do this online assesment thing we've been set on LECTURES WE HAVEN'T HAD YET on genetics because the head of our unit was like 'we haven't got time to fit this assesment in after we've actually had the lectures so instead we'll do it BEFORE them' anyway i was gllllaaaaaad to see there she goes my beautiful world in your latest listened to tracks thing (and apparently after i stalked a bit in your most listened to tracks in the last few months or something wooop) and considered that, but i've settled on some kind of combination of lovely tom-o waits and nick cave. so thankyou.

I'm not sure how far back you'll need, but here goes: I worked in labor; 10 hour days, and was 100% relying on my friend's good will for a place to live. Saw horrible and amazing things becoming a Wilderness Medic, snored at home...fixed and built wheel chairs with an El Salvadoran veteran, then worked for greenpeace and was goddamn successful. I met a lot of people - travelled to Boston on a train with a hallowed chapter book full of money, pretending to be a journalist from New York. Drank whiskey. Met up with with a friend who travels america on freight trains and collects folklore; he was with his girlfriend and driving a van with mattresses instead of seats. Drugs. Went to vermont and lived with a punk circus for a while. Flew to Mexico and rambled the yucatan for a month - Guatemala, Belize. Ran out of money in Guatemala. Hitchhiked, begged. Flew home and promptly had a nearly fatal asthma attack. WHEW. There's a lot more, but that's the gist.
