If I see you, I shall. Look out for a surly, bearded bastard in a leather jacket/oversized metal band hoodie.

This is going to come across so creepily, but I've actually seen you around campus wearing various metal shirts. I've always been meaning to say hi but I'm too socially inept, clearly. So, nice taste :L

You were indeed correct to do so, now go to the centre page of the inlay booklet, place the tube on the circle outline and.. anamorphic images ahoy!

Pahaha no need to apologise, the lake district sounds serene, and just glad you enjoyed it to any degree. You are the first to say they prefer a song besides Missionary ahaha. If you know of any people who would dig it, please whore us out to the max, we're starved of attention.

Do you know if Sleep played all of Dopesmoker at Leeds? Someone at ATP told me they did, which if true is annoying as they had ample time to play it at Roadburn (about a 2 hour set) but didn't! They were one of the highlights for me, as well as Harvey Milk and Mogwai. Didn't go on the Sunday, had a weekend ticket but my mates were only going for the first two days, there were no bands on I wanted to see and I couldn't stand the heat for another day, so wandered round London instead! Not going to The Mevlins, don't know much of their stuff to be honest, although after seeing them at ATP I need to check them out. Next gig for me now is Download!

No news on charity gig yet, still trying to sort out venue. ATP was awesome, I didn't catch Harvey Milk up here on Thursday so Saturday was the first time I ever saw them! Who did you enjoy the most?

Mainly looking forward to Yob and Sleep, both of who were great this year at Roadburn, Mogwai (fave band on line-up), Harvey Milk and Slayer, even if Jeff's not playing due to that illness that sounds like a death metal band...Who you looking forward to? Mental health's close to my heart too, have known a fair few people over the years affected by depression and other things.

I've not checked out Wode yet, must admit though I'm not much of a black metal guy (doom for me!). The gig will be for Mind, the mental health charity- the brother of a good friend committed suicide a few months back so wanted to do something for that. Actually spoke to Islington Mill about it, they gave me next weekend as a provisional date, when I told them I couldn't due to ATP I never heard back from them! So looking for another venue now...

Yeah, NASDAQ are awesome, I sort of know two of them and am hoping to put them on as part of a charity gig I want to arrange this summer. I do live in Manchester, in Whalley Range, how about you?

Yob are indeed ideal to see when high, and yep saw them and Bongripper at Roadburn. Song Bongripper after having a blunt.. So was pretty damn toasty.. Each chord sent trembles throughout my body, was almost heavy enough to knock me over ahaha.. I'm really unsure about whether I'll be going simply for the monies, but if you can afford it.. Do it. Welp, that sounds odd.. Would've been pretty cool I imagine, but yeh.. I was fretting about not being able to make Death Grips in Brighton, only to see the cancellations.. So made me feel a little bit better ahaha. I don't have many gigs planned myself, but I bet ATP will be great. Think I've got Unfest at my local venue (some free mini fest), potentially seeing Sunn 0))) the following weekend and I may well accompany my friends to see Defeater in either June/July. Heard the new Necro Deathmort yet? Also, currently listening to the JK Flesh album.. Worth a listen I say!

Oh hell yeah.. Seen them twice at Roadburn now. I didn't think all that much of them on record, then saw them live and it was an epiphany - never heard such a huge sound from 3 instruments before. Bongripper may be the only band I've seen that are heavier.. But they're a 4 piece. For Godspeed, although they're not one of my most listened to bands, they're unquestionably one of my favourites. I had no qualms with their live shows, just got absolutely lost in them. The first show I was in the seating area, and just relaxed and closed my eyes. As good as it looked I am not.. Monies are needed to be saved.. Wanted to see Death Grips and get myself a hefty dose of hipster hop.. But again. Monies. I need to save up for the stuff that will enable me to play these festivals in the future ahaha ..That said, I may attend a day of the Hop Farm Festival to catch Gay Numan, Primal Scream and Bruce Forsyth :D

Godspeed were great, clearer sound than when I saw them first time..But didn't have the same atmosphere for me. Swans were my highlight too. Had seen them at Roadburn that year and both times were brilliant, Gira just hurtling around the stage.. I remember him accidentally spitting on one of the bodyguard guys at the front >< I'm a total NDM fanboy, so was quick to go grab my shirt on the day they played at Roadburn. My new random question - ever seen Yob live?

Sorry yes, I'm apparently too busy for full band names. Well worth going to, but I may have to give it a miss next year.. Want to save money. NDM were spot on at this year's festival, playhed new material and it was niiiiiice. Not been to supersonic, but damn .. I've missed Bohren so many times, wish I could get to see them live. Went to the portishead ATP festival as well, was pretty cool.. Just went for the day swans, gospeed, grinderman etc. played.
