You're definitely a child of the 90s like me. You have Mulder as your pfp, and I have Buffy. Amazing taste as well!

I rewatched the first Scream recently after years and it's definitely one of my favorites. I didn't remember it was this good. Also I Know what You Did Last Summer (this is my top favorite ever). I love the story, all the characters, the anthologic Helen Shivers' death scene etc. It's my absolute favorite from all. do you like it? I watched some classics in halloween that I never seen before like Nightmare on Elm Street (the first 3), the reboot of Friday the 13rd (I only had watched the first one from 1980), Candyman (this one is terrible lol) and I didn't like it any haha. Only the first Nightmare on ES got me actually, but it was too bizarre and some scenes are really disgusting to look.. lol. But it's definitely one of the big classics of horror movies. Besides that first ones I quote, my other favorites are Final Destination (only the first one), The Faculty, Urband Legend (also the 1st) and The Shining.

It's such a classic. I can't wait to see the new one this year. I Know What You Did Last Summer is close to my heart haha, I remember renting it when I was younger and instantly fell in love.. Helen ftw, she should have been the final girl. Nightmare is in my top 5 for sure, you can't go wrong, also love the Friday films- just mindless fun. Which Candyman did you see, original or newer? I love the original but have yet to see the new one. All great films you have listed, I rewatched the Faculty recently actually and it still holds up well. Also thoroughly enjoy the Final Destination movies haha. I bought the blu-ray set last year and definitely no regrets.

Yeah, the premise and everything about is so bizarre and strange, but somehow it was pulled off flawlessly. It's been a while since I saw The Witch, but I found it great too, yes, especially the cinematography and ominous atmosphere. Love that he brings this crazy meticulousness to outlandish scenarios and settings that other "serious" modern films often shy away from. Guess that's why the Academy Awards almost totally ignored his work so far.

Couldn't resist making a weak joke lol, but I loved the movie, probably my favorite of the year. Really curious for what Robert Eggers does next.

You're welcome! He's a big inspiration to me too. What's your favourite film? Mine is Rebel Without A Cause <3 I relate a lot to it and in my birthday last year I went to the movie theater with my mom and we watched it! Thank you!!
