Actually, Red seemed to dry out quite quickly compared to other places. Though yes, many people did just give up on shoes. I had heard that, yeah, there were a lot of new rules about fires and such to try and avoid a tent-fueled inferno. Indeed it seems I am in the year above. It's a bit annoying, however, as I have to wait some time before by 18th. A very long time indeed.

Ahh, purple. Mental. I was in red, you see. We got through the queue, and then couldn't be bothered to walk further, so just settled in there. It was very nice indeed, mellow even on the last night. The police kept a crazily tight leash on everything that last night. Yeah, sharing is always good. Thankfully, it's the last year I need to.

Ahh, Purple. I was wandering around the site that last night and at one point it looked like the toilets in purple had been set alight. It was bluddy mental there. I also saw the green army try to mobilise, before being promptly surrounded by riot police. Funny times. Yeah, that last night was a weird one for me. Especially as I was stone-cold sober. Strange times. And no 2011? Argh, you're kidding me! I guess I'll just have to bide my time then. I know, did you find they were rather strict with age? I just ended up befriending strangers who were more than willing to help out. That's the thing; everyone there was just genuinely nice.

It was genius. Especially the shouting. My favourite was the 'mexican wave' of people screaming "bollocks", that was always hilarious. But yeah, sunday was ruined for me by that cold. After Foals I dropped out, hid in my tent, had some random hypothermia like attack, put 2 fleeces on and ate 3 mars bars then had a sleepy. The clashes are a shame, I'd love to see glasto, but hey, the year after next. Secret Garden is very interesting, but it's literally days before my 18th birthday... Now that's annoying.

Exactly the same with me, I made friends with a nice bunch of Welsh people in the middle of Arcade Fire. It wad genius. I love talking to strangers. If anything, next time I ought to drink slightly more and try to avoid getting a cold; put a damper on my sunday, sadly. The libertines were amazing, I was very impressed. Phoenix was huge, too. I'm not sure about next year. It was good, but there are probably other festivals that would cater more directly to my tastes. I'd register for glasto, but you can't predict if it will clash with exams or not, so I'll leave that one. Maybe I'll go for Green Man or something...

I reckon all those words just about cover it. I had a very interesting time as I discovered quite how different my music taste is to my friends'. They went off to see Dizzee or You Me At Six, blah blah blah, so I spent most of the time wandering around on my own having conversations with strangers. Yeasayer and Arcade Fire are probably my highlights. That and seeing Villagers play to a crowd that was much smaller than they deserve.
