Weird, still stays to me that we're 'Very High'... anyway, it's probably because I listen to far too much pretentious electronica :D

I saw their new song, Kidz, on a Freeview channel yesterday and thought it was a good song. Really liked Mark's 'I'm a Northerner me' processed bits :P

I'm quite well thanks! I've heard it multiple times and it isn't shaking me away from thinking it's a thoroughly decent album. Underwhelming but not completely without merit. It starts off quite badly but halfway through it picks up. Some songs have some sketchy bits in them too.

Your profile pic tells me that you have longer hair than before and it looks fabulous. Meanwhile, I have turned into Charlie Brooker.

That Facebook group you invited me to has made me put some Madge on. Just remembered how brilliantly overdone "Like a Prayer" is <3.

It's the only one I have bar his greatest hits. I sat through last night getting a bit teary eyed at a lot of the album. Such simple lyrics but such passion behind them and I've been humming "Longer Boats" a lot recently :). I'm not a fan of Father and Son though.

Oh Lowri, I love Passion Pit! Well... I love Sleepyhead which I've been listening to on repeat but am looking forwards to getting round to the rest of the album soon! I am also enjoying My Girls by Animal collective, check it out, although you probably already know it :) x

Oh, and no gigs, boo! Mainly because I'm stingy with money and can't be arsed traveling up to London. There's not really been anyone I've wanted to see in Brighton recently... well, apart from Calvin Harris, but that sold out before I got tickets, noo! I did see Tim Minchin though, if that counts? Gosh I love him. :D x

Ran out of space, oh dear... At the moment I'm also constantly singing 'In for the kill' by La Roux... i don't even like it that much, it's just insanely catchy! I'm also loving the new Editors song, 'Papillon'... And Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' :D I think spotify is bad for me though, I tend to just listen to individual tracks rather than whole albums! I'm going to check out some of yours, heard good things about Passion Pit... I'm also going to listen to Frontier Psychiatrist now too, don't remember it, but maybe I will once I hear it. (Am listening to it now, remember it and love it! I'll try get hold of the album too...) Music lovvvve! Miss you! xxx

Ooooooooh! Ok... Albums I've loved, well Foals is undoubtably the hit of 2009 for me, not a bad track on there, listened to it so much. Also, although it didn't come out in 2009, TV on the Radio's 'Return to cookie mountain' album, amaazing. Been enjoying Ratatat and the Emperor Machine too, although no one album in particular, just miscellaneous Spotifyings of the two. Then there's this group called 'Kanzeon', I know basically nothing about them, and can't get hold of their album for love nor money, just been listening to them on Spotify... Listen to 'Kingston Gay Bar'... awesome. As for individual tracks, I'm addicted to 'The Bears are Coming' by Late of the Pier, and especially at the moment, 'Black and Blue' by Miike Snow, such a beautiful beautiful song. Talking of beautiful longs, have you heard 'To Build a Home' by the Cinematic Orchestra? It's been on adverts although I can't remember which ones, but listen and I'm sure you'll recognise it...

Lady Gaga is quite alright, isn't she? I've heard nothing but bile spilled in her direction!

Hah, I had to check wikipedia to see which album was first anyhow. And yeah, sounds like a plan. How'd you go about doing that? Just by email?

No, I've only got Happy Ending, which I love. I just have a couple of tracks from the other albums, I'll have to get those too, it's annoying having to get them airmailed over off of eBay. :(

"London Bridge" will always remind me of Bill Bailey instead of one Fergie. For that I'm glad :P.

Ah yes, I've been enjoying crystal castles too! That song by the killers, 'are we human or are we dancers'... it bothers me because I don't understand it, but it keeps getting stuck in my head.

Hmm, lots of Of Montreal (if you've not listened to them before, a good place to start is their album 'Hissing Fauna, are you the destroyer?' - one of those rare albums where every single song is genius. And how can you not love a band who look as delightful as this: http://i.realone.com/assets/rn/img/5/0/6/0/19580605-19580610-slarge.jpg I'm seeing them in January, v excited. Also loving TV on the radio's new album, listen to 'Red Dress' if you get the chance. what have you been listening to? x

They should join forces. The Boss singing Song 2 would be memorable to say the least :P.

Aye, should be going to it. Tickets out on Friday I believe. Apparently they're announcing more dates but god knows when. Wish they'd announce them altogether! Aargh.
