So was it good? I was hoping to get a guestlist spot at Hoxton, but I didn't... :( How was it? they've moved the Surfer Blood instore at Pure Groove to 8 pm, so I'll be going then.

The Hoxton show is sold out? shit, was afraid that would happen... i'll probably go to the Koko gig then. I added the events after seeing the tourlist on their myspace, on the 5th of february Surfer Blood is part of Club NME, with Plugs headlining I think (like i said, i added the event after the myspace, and then later found on when looking on the koko website that it was part of club nme). At The Hippodrome in Kingston, they will be part of New Slang, an indie and alternative night I believe, playing alongside Pete and the Pirates, again according to the myspace, (don't know much else about this gig) By the way, they're also playing a free instore at Pure Groove Records on the 8th, at about 1 pm

yes yes, been seeing plenty: Hey Negrita! were fantastic, opened by Tony Alalone and the 78s: real rockabilly/south London, accordians and harmonicas so great...and Broken Records, an Edinbrugh based band...been compared (much to their disgruntlment) with Arcade Fire...think I'm going to swing past A Hawk and a Hacksaw Thursday, see you down on the attending register, might only get there in time for them, but beer at the bar if we both there?
