Thanks for the Ali track although I copped it a bit earlier. It's great to have some more Ali ish coming out. We need inspirational cats like him in this day in age. Put my dad onto "Begin Here" from The Trush Is Here and now he's really getting into Ali. A legend, I swear.

Well, I wanted to think you again for asking me to listen to Doomtree. That crew is one of my new favorites. Dessa especially, I've yet to come across many female MCs that kick it like she can. Excellent taste. I'm just starting to get into their individual albums. It's not quite the same, but may I suggest The Typical Cats? Qwel in particular. His poetry is spot on in the same way that Dessa's is, though in his own style. http://www.last.fm/music/Typical+Cats/Typical+Cats

Well, I read it, and the section about "White Privilege" got me. Anyone who can admit not being part of the founding of a culture but still feel vindication in taking part in it... I'll listen. I'll tell ya, I dig it. I'm on track three right now and it's damn good. B-Boy, great beats, great delivery. I'll be enjoying this album. Thank you.

I actually dig the album, particularly "Kid Gloves." Fun beats and interesting rhymes. Hit me up when you interview Macklemore, I'd love to see it. I do end up enjoying an artist once I know what makes them tick. I notice that you haven't spent much time listening to Binary Star. You should fix that. 47 plays is simply not enough, my dear.

i gotta say i was a little bit disappointed listenin to these electro beats at the beginning, but after a rotation in my hifi system (i preordered the cd), i feel it. "the balance" is the shit, doooope ! lyrically, production... heavy rotation. i also enjoy "apocalyptic doomsday" and "i can't sleep". i'm amazed by the chew fu bionic's remix, some sort of a ufo right there ^^. i appreciate all the tracks, except save you, don't feel this atm, but like u i need more listenings ;).

Cool review of Dessa's show, it's a rare treat to read a hip hop reviewer that puts such emphasis on emotion. See you on 07/08 !
