Oh and you could also check out the Swedish band "Star Horse", specifically the song "Aishiteru" though they have loads of other good songs too. They're a neat little band :3

Well idk exactly what you're looking for obv, but you could start by checking out "No Sense" by Blankenberge (Russia), "Boring Train" by Beachside talks (Japan), the entire self-titled album by Westkust (Sweden), the album "Ruusuputarha" by Ruissalo Amping (Finland) and specifically the songs "Putoan", "Rakkaus kuolemassa elää" and "Suudelmiin". I also suggest the songs "Neptune Hotel" and "Symphony" by Yeah Baby (USA), "Dawn of the Sun" by softsurf (Japan) and the songs "Tidal" and "Daylight Storms" by Air Formation (UK). Hope there's at least something among those you don't hate, and that you haven't already heard them all ^^

He really was. True alternative and true punk rock in an era of wannabes and posers. He kept it honest and, as a producer, the vision in the hands of the artist. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind and didn't care if people didn't like it, an increasingly rare virtue in any person, in music or otherwise. Easily the greatest living producer until he had to go and die way too soon :/ Oh and he said pop music is quote "for children and idiots" endquote, which I can totally vibe with

Cool charts! Check out Medicine, the buried life/shot forth self living are one of the best imo (not from Japan, but great shoogaze/noise pop) Also Yuck are really good, try the 1st album. Would love some leads to new stuff too. Cheers

Thank you very much for giving me a recommendation! I remember hearing the song "Time Baby III" but I relistened and wow, it's good. I do love Yuck! my favorite song by them is shook down. Also, your library is really stacked, I love all the noise pop and diversity. Try the song "rebirth and karma" by my dead girlfriend and tell me what you think.

Oh, had to think about it, but it's gotta be towards the beautiful unknown. yet flute player hana-chan and white egg come very close. also I gotta say your music taste is absolutely sublime. i could almost mistake it for mine as i like most of your top artists :D.

Hana-chan is definitely one of the higher points of the album, I love Noko's raw emotion and its transiton into 夜空の虫たちと (my all time favourite Shinsei Kamattechan track). All tracks on Tsumanne work insanely well on their own, but as a whole the album is an ethereal experience. Btw you have great taste as well, I'll have to check out some of your top artists :).

As a Last.fm veteran, let me tell you that from my experience, recommendations are usually just a conversational topic. Rarely does somebody actually listen to the stuff that was recommended. That's why I stopped giving recommendations many years ago.
